One of my client contacted me and asked me if I know how to make their Facebook page URL shorter so it is easier to remember because after you register a new page normally it will become like this:
http://www.facebook.com/pages/Achilezcom-Photography/161149810603849
New Facebook fan page url:
https://www.facebook.com/achilezdotcom
So I thought of sharing this information, this is not just for facebook fan page but also works on your profile name as well, like:
https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=161149810603849
And you would like to change something like this:
https://www.facebook.com/achilezweb
It’s quiet easy as ABC:
1. Login to Facebook
2. After login, go to http://www.facebook.com/username/
The page name dropdown populates the list of all the pages you created or you are currently admin, just select which page you want to apply then enter the desired username and click on the “Check Availability” button to make it yours.
