The City of Smiles, Negros Occidental. At last I was able to witness my first ever Masskara Festival here in Bacolod City. I always heard that Masskara Festival was wonderful, people were friendly, contingents dance with passion and their costumes were very very colorful that’s why we don’t hesitate to visit this place.
When I & my bro (Amatz Fox) arrived in the city, we’re very excited and love to explore the places, cultures and start shooting on the said festival but we have a problem “ACCOMODATION”, coz all the hotels, pension houses, lodges were fully booked since last month. But thanks god while we keep on looking such places we’re able to get 1 vacant room. Sigh! patience is really a virtue!
Anyway, we really enjoyed shooting Masskara street dancing, electric Masskara & Masskara queen, its fun even though its tiring my foot seems to sore yet its worth it.
I probably took more than a thousand photos and will be sending only 3 entries to the Masskara Festival photo contest. It doesn’t matter to me whether I won on the photo contest or not, but for me my experience was enough and its priceless!
My checklist, places I visited in Bacolod:
